Here is an example of an area which was determined to have a water <br />distribution system constructed through an inter -local agreement between the <br />County and the City of Sebastian. This came about as a result of the sale of the <br />utility system to Indian River County. <br />All three phases are scheduled to be complete by the end of the year 2000. <br />This particular area is estimated to comprise the majority of development in <br />the County in the near future. <br />TRC Review <br />- The Sanctuary <br />— Development is submitted to TRC for review 0 <br />— Water and sewer demands require connection <br />to County system <br />— Lack of existing water and sewer transmission <br />mains in vicinity of project require off site <br />improvements by developer <br />Here is an example of a typical project reviewed by TRC <br />(See the connection matrix visual aid and relate it with the site plan submittal) <br />This particular project is a residential development for 109 single-family <br />homes. Based on the connection matrix, the development is required to <br />connect to water and sewer. <br />�JLJ <br />TRC Review (Continued) <br />— County Master Plan is reviewed to determine <br />size and location of water and sewer mains p <br />— Developer enters into agreement with County <br />to construct water and sewer lines in <br />accordance with Master Plan <br />— Developer is reimbursed cost of off site <br />improvements not directly associated with <br />project <br />(Read slide) <br />Here is the master plan for the collection system in that area. <br />Here is the schedule of construction <br />( See visual of master plan and construction schedules) <br />Even though this section was scheduled to be constructed before now, there <br />has not been any growth in the area to warrant construction of the facilities. <br />35 <br />FEBRUARY 3, 1997 <br />BOOK 1 UJ PAGE 4"1 <br />
