The assessment cost can be spread over ten years with <br />annual installments at 8.25% per annum. The first annual <br />installment is due one year after completion of the <br />project. If paid in full within 90 days after completion <br />of the project and final acceptance and approval by the <br />Board of County Commissioners, there are no interest <br />expenses. <br />In addition to assessment costs, there are water impact <br />fees, which are currently $1,570.00, payable at the time <br />of application for a service connection for each <br />equivalent residential unit (ERU), which are a necessary <br />integral part of funding the cost of water treatment <br />systems. <br />Impact fees may be financed and paid monthly, over a five <br />or ten year period at 8.25%. <br />Other standard additional charges include: <br />Deposit of $50.00 for each ERU. <br />Meter installation charge of $130.00 each. <br />EXAMPLE: A TYPICAL PETITION ASSESSMENT PROJECTS SUMMARY SCHEDULE <br />VERO GLEN SUBDIVISION PETITION FOR COUNTY WATER <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO.
