BOOK 10J PAGE <br />resulting in a revised contract amount of $20,435.72. The <br />contractor was paid an initial draw in the amount of $17,476.36 for <br />86% of the project, less retainage. Utilities staff is now <br />prepared to make final payment in the amount of $2,959.36. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve Change Order No. 1, approve <br />final payment in the amount of $2,959.36 to Driveways, Inc. and <br />authorize the Chairman to execute same, as presented. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Change Order resulting in a revised contract <br />amount of $20,435.72 with Driveways, Inc. and <br />approved final payment in the amount of $2,959.36, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />. OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />PARHING FOR UTILITY DEPARTMENT PAYMENTS <br />Commissioner Adams asked if Commissioner Ginn would be willing <br />to contact the City of Vero Beach regarding the issue of a drive- <br />through for payment of utility bills, and Commissioner Ginn replied <br />that she would be happy to do that. <br />CONSENSUS was that Commissioner Caroline Ginn would ask the <br />City of Vero Beach to allow a drive-through at the -Administration - <br />Building for payment of utility bills. <br />CLARIFICATION OF FAXED LETTER REGARDING INRIVCO <br />Commissioner Ginn was concerned with the tone of a letter from <br />American Consultation Services, Inc. regarding negotiations to be <br />held Thursday and Friday. She wanted to know whether the <br />Commissioners were to be a part of the negotiations, and Chairman <br />Eggert advised that as soon as an agreement is reached, a workshop <br />will be held for the Board. <br />CONSENSUS was reached that when the negotiations are <br />completed, a workshop will be scheduled. <br />LEISURE SERVICES DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW <br />The Board reviewed an overview on the Sandridge Golf Club <br />which was presented by Bob Komarinetz: <br />FEBRUARY 25, 1997 38 <br />S <br />
