<br />The Hoard of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, will con-
<br />st several prop�ais to adopt amendments to its comprehensive plan changing
<br />the use of land within the unincorporated portions of Indian River County and
<br />adding a new policy to the Fuwre Land Use Element. A public hearing on the
<br />proposals will be held on Tuesday, Match 18, 1997, at 9:05 a m. in the County
<br />Commission Chambers of the County Administration Building, located at 1840
<br />25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. At this public hearing, the Board of County
<br />Commissioners will make a final decision whether to amend the county'scompre-
<br />hensive plan. The proposed amendments are included in a proposed ordinance
<br />entitled:
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
<br />AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT BY CHANGING
<br />THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR -
<br />1. t 15.2 ACRES LOCATED APPROXIMATELY % OF A MILE EAST
<br />OF 74TH AVENUE, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 28TH STREET,
<br />FROM L-1 TO M-1;
<br />2. t 111 ACRES LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
<br />58TH AVENUE AND CR 510, FROM L-2170 C-1:
<br />3. t15 ACRES LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
<br />58TH AVENUE AND THE MAIN RELIEF CANAL, FROM M-1 TO

<br />ROAD, 1:660 FEET EAST OF 82ND AVENUE, FROM C/I TO
<br />PUB; AND
<br />PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing regarding the
<br />approval of these proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
<br />The plan amendment applications may be inspected by the public at the Com-
<br />munity Development Department located on the second floor of the County Ad-
<br />ministration Building located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, between
<br />the hours of 8:30 am. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
<br />The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public during regular busi-
<br />ness hours at the office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, 1840
<br />25th Street. Vero Beach. Florida.
<br />Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may be made at this meet-
<br />ing will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which
<br />includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal will be based.
