March 18, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 18, 1997, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were Carolyn R. Eggert, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Kenneth R. Macht; and <br />Caroline D. Ginn. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />"PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Eggert called the meeting to order. Reverend Joe <br />Brooks of the 20th Avenue Church of God gave the Invocation, and <br />County Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Eggert requested two additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. Item 13-A-2, Discussion regarding Indian River <br />Lagoon American Assembly on April 18 and 19, <br />1997. <br />2. Item 13-A-3, Discussion regarding Library <br />Cooperatives Funding. <br />Commissioner Macht requested the addition to today's Agenda of <br />Item 13-E, discussion regarding possible ordinance limiting the use <br />of County rights-of-way. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF AMUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions <br />to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of February 20, 1997. There <br />were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Special Meeting of February 20, <br />1997, as written. <br />MARCH 189 1997 1 BOOK M I'M874 <br />
