Tuesday, March 27, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session in County Commission Chambers, 1840 <br />25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 27, 1997, at <br />9:00 a.m. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Commissioners Fran B. Adams and Caroline D. <br />Ginn. Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht was absent due to illness. <br />Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles <br />P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. Commissioner Tippin <br />gave the invocation and Administrator Chandler led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO = AGENDAMMI RGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert advised that item 9.A., Creation of Children's <br />Services Network was withdrawn due to Commissioner Macht's absence. <br />The public hearing will be re -advertised in the future. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of Item 13.C., <br />Support Funding of Land and Water Conservation Trust Fund monies to <br />Purchase Land within Archie Carr Refuge. <br />Chairman Eggert requested addition of two items: 1) 13.A.1., <br />Challenge Drop in Population and 2) 13.A.2., Utility Impact Fee <br />Refund. <br />Administrator Chandler requested addition of 11.B.2., <br />Application for Derelict Vessel Removal Grant. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously <br />(4-0, Commissioner Macht being absent) added <br />the above items to the Agenda. <br />1 <br />March 25, 1997 nor DO PAGE 997 <br />
