April 15, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of -Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, April 15, 1997, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were Carolyn R. Eggert, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Kenneth R. Macht; and <br />Caroline D. Ginn. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />"PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Eggert called the meeting to order. Reverend Mike <br />Oliver of 1st United ----Methodist gave the Invocation, and <br />Commissioner Ginn led_the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO TSE_ AGENDA <br />Chairman Eggert requested four additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. Item 13-A-2, computer equipment for Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />2. Item 13-A-3, Council of Community Services. <br />3. Item 13-C, Fairgrounds Advisory SubCommittee. <br />4. Item..12, Comments regarding Seawall Lawsuit. <br />Commissioner Tippin requested the addition of Item 13-B, <br />Emerging Technologies --Forum: -_ - <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br />Great Florida Cleanup Day - April 19, 1997 <br />Chairman Eggert presented the following Proclamation to Dane <br />Roberts: <br />eoQr 1 rd PAGE 113 <br />APRIL 159 1997 1 <br />
