Project), Series (to <br />be determined) (the "Bonds") at a <br />public hearing to be held at a reg- <br />ular meeting of the Board on May <br />6, 1997 beginning at 9:00 a.m. or <br />as soon thereafter as may be <br />heard, in the Commission Cham- <br />bers, 1840 25th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida. <br />The proceeds of the Bonds will <br />be used to (i) pay all or a portion <br />of the costs of issuing such Bonds, <br />(ii) pay all or a portion of the costs <br />of acquiring, renovating and <br />expanding the Project, and (ii7 to <br />pay any and all additional costs of <br />the Project as may be permitted by <br />applicable law. The Project con- <br />sists of an approximately 23,000 <br />square foot solid waste disposal <br />facility (and directly related office <br />and support facilities) located at <br />925 74th Avenue, S.W., Vero <br />Beach, Florida, which facility will <br />process fruit and related waste <br />peelings into cattle feed. The <br />Project will be owned and oper- <br />ated by Ocean Spray Cranberries, <br />Inc. (the "Company"). <br />The Bands shall be payable <br />from revenues from the operation. <br />of the Project and from payments <br />to be made by the Company for <br />the benefit of the holders of t1% <br />Bonds, and shall not constitute a <br />general debt, general liability or <br />general obligation of the County, <br />the State of Florida or any political <br />subdivision thereof. <br />All interested parties are invited to <br />present their comments at the time <br />and place shown above. Persons <br />are advised that if they desire'to . <br />appeal any decision made at this <br />meeting, they may need to ensure <br />that a verbatim record of the pro <br />ceedings is made, which record <br />includes the testimony and evi- <br />dence upon which the appeal is to' <br />be based.
