The site is located in an AE special flood hazard zone, base <br />flood elevation 22.6 ft. N.G.V.D. In the attached letter from the applicant's engineer dated April <br />29, 1997, a waiver of the cut and fill balance requirement is requested. The lot area is 1.06 <br />acres. The volume of the 100 year floodplain displaced by the proposed grading plan is <br />estimated to be 1124 cubic yards. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The waiver request has been reviewed by staff and appears to meet the criteria of Section <br />930.07(2)(d)4. of the Stormwater Management and Flood Protection Ordinance for lots located <br />in the Vero Lake Estates Municipal Services Taxing Unit. <br />MAY'20, 1997 <br />14 <br />
