RAUTH We - <br />AND STAFFED MANAGER OF WATER/WASTEWATER OPERATIONS v <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: DEMOLITION OF FIVE WATER PLANT FACILITIES <br />AND ONE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 6088 <br />FINAL PAY REQUEST <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />On October 22, 1996, the Board of County Commissioners awarded the <br />above -referenced contract to American Atlas Wrecking. The project <br />is complete, and the Utilities Department is prepared to make final <br />payment to the contractor. The original contract amount was <br />$32,600.00. -'- <br />RECOMMENDATION--- -. <br />The staff of -the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the final pay request in the <br />amount of $32,600.00 and authorize the chairman to execute same. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved the final pay <br />request of $32,600 to American Atlas Wrecking, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />INVOICE IS ON FILE IN TIE OFFICE <br />• i V• M,i_ : • :_; • <br />36 <br />JUNE 39 1997 <br />
