BOOK 101 PAGE 0 , " <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Giem, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, that the Board approve Addendum No. 3 to the <br />contract with Camp Dresser and McKee, Inc. in the amount of $59,112 <br />and authorize the Chairman to execute same, as recommended by staff <br />Commissioner Ginn emphasized that the Board does not like to see an approval of an item <br />after -the -fact and directed that staff make certain this does not ever happen in the future. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />ADDENDUM IS ON FME IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />B.A. TRANSPORTATION COMMENT <br />Chairman Eggert commented that since the announcement had been made that the Council on <br />Aging will no longer be the County's transportation coordinator there has been some misunderstanding <br />that the County does not want transportation. She wished to make it clear that the County does want <br />transportation but wants to be certain the right method is chosen. <br />The County is involved in discussion with the State and other counties and expects <br />transportation to continue as it is currently being handled until January 1d" 1998 at which time another <br />alternative will be decided upon <br />Sam Alia, of Vista Royale, was recognized by the Chair and thanked the Board for the relief to <br />be afforded by the new dangerous animal regulations.
