RAUTH <br />AND STAFFED OPERATIONS MANAGER WATER/WASTEWATER f_F- <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY RFP 7025, CONSULTING SERVICES <br />FOR CIVIL SITE WORK AT THE WEST REGIONAL <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />On January 29, 1997, the County received six (6) responses to the <br />above -referenced request for proposals. On February 28, 1997, <br />the staff short-listed the three candidates for presentations. <br />On April 16, 1997, presentations were made to the staff selection <br />committee. The selection process was finalized and the <br />department is now prepared to proceed with contract negotiations. <br />The staff selection committee ranked the three short-listed firms <br />as follows: <br />1. Carter Associates, Inc. <br />2. Gee and Jenson, Inc. <br />3. Messler and Associates, Inc. <br />The firm of Carter Associates, Inc., was selected by the <br />committee. A copy of the firm's proposal is on file in the Board <br />of County Commissioners' office. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that <br />the Board of County Commissioners authorize the staff to proceed <br />with the negotiations for a contract for consulting services for <br />civil site work at the west regional wastewater treatment plant <br />with Carter Associates, Inc. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Macht, to approve staffs recommendation. <br />59 <br />June 10, 1997 +@,_ ' p�.aYI <br />bon1, - �i 1 P,i6E i31 <br />
