PF:N:SC !1 <br />_ . ....,.....r'' � <br />JULY 15, 1997 <br />17 <br />NOTICE <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Com- <br />missioners of Indian River County, Florida shall hold, a public <br />hearing at which parties in interest and citizens shall have an <br />opportunity to be heard, in the County Commission Chambers <br />of the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th <br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, July 15, 1997 at <br />9:05 a.m. to consider the adoption of an Ordinance, addres- <br />sing various land development regulations, entitled: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING THE FOLLOWING CHAPTERS OF THE <br />LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (LDRS): CHAPTER <br />910, CONCURRENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; CHAP- <br />TER 911, ZONING; CHAPTER 912, SINGLE FAMILY DE- <br />VELOPMENT; CHAPTER 954, OFF-STREET PARKING; <br />CHAPTER 971, REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC LAND USE <br />CRITERIA, AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF COW <br />FLICTING PROVISIONS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Said ordinance, if adopted, would be effective in the unin- <br />corporated area of the county. <br />Topics relating to the amendments contained in the pro- <br />posed ordinance include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />1. Allowing non-commercial stables and kennels in the <br />AIR -1 zoning district as administrative permit uses, as <br />presently allowed in other single family residential <br />districts (Chapters 911, 971). <br />2. Modifications to parking requirements for hotel/motel <br />uses, gas station/sales uses, and health and fitness <br />centers (Chapter 954). <br />3. Modifications to update concurrency regulations in <br />conformance with comprehensive plan changes <br />approved in 1996 (Chapter 910). <br />4. Allowing banks and financial/credit uses <br />(Professional, Residential, Office) zoning <br />(Chapter 911). <br />A copy of the proposed ordinance is available at the Plan- <br />ning Division office located on the second floor of the County <br />Administration Building Please direct planning -related ques- <br />tions to the current development section at 567-8000, ext. <br />242. <br />Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may <br />be made at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim <br />record of the proceedings is made, which includes testimony <br />and evidence upon which the appeal is based. <br />ANYONE WHO NEEDS A SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION <br />FOR THIS MEETING .
