Chairman Eggert announced that a public workshop will be held in the Indian <br />River County Commission Chambers August 14, 1997, 7:00 — 9:00 p.m. The workshop <br />will be presented by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of <br />Marine Resource Regulation and Development. The purpose of the workshop is to <br />discuss the proposed establishment of an Aquaculture Use Zone, north and east of Pelican <br />Island. Also involved is the U.S. Department of Interior, Pelican Island National Wildlife <br />Refuge, and the Board of County Commissioners. She advised that all are welcome to <br />come and give their opinions about it. This workshop has been advertised in the legal <br />advertisements, but the announcement was being made for those who might not have <br />seen the ads.
