One lot at the southeast corner of 45th Avenue and 4th <br />Street has been connected to County water since 1992, without an <br />agreement to be included in this assessment. Therefore, 27 lots <br />are included in the attached preliminary assessment. <br />Attached are Resolutions I and II for the assessment project. <br />The total estimated project cost and amount to be assessed, <br />including engineering and administration is $76,000.00. The <br />estimated cost per square foot is $0.119693 (rounded). The <br />attached map displays the area to benefit from the assessment <br />project. This project is to be funded through the assessment of <br />property owners along the proposed water line route. In the <br />interim, financing will be from the assessment fund. <br />RECO14MENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that <br />the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached <br />resolutions, which approve the preliminary assessment roll and <br />establish the public hearing date. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 97-080, providing for water service to West <br />Meadows Subdivision, providing for the total estimated cost, <br />the method of payment of assessments, number of annual <br />installments, and legal description of the area specifically <br />served, as recommended in the Memorandum. <br />81 <br />August 12, 1997 <br />ax J <br />
