September 8, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Special <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Monday, September 8, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; John <br />W. Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Kenneth R Macht; and Caroline D. Ginn. Also <br />present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Terrence P. O'Brien, Assistant <br />County Attorney: and Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The purpose of the meeting was to hold a PUBLIC WORKSHOP ON <br />LANDSCAPING ISSUES. Also in attendance were the following members of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission: Monte K. Falls, Richard H. Dittman, William A. McNamee, <br />Leland Gibbs, Jr., George F. Hamner, Jr., and Norman W. Hensick, Jr. In addition, the <br />following members of the Professional Services Advisory Commission were present: Peter <br />Robinson, Warren Dill, Kay Trent, and Robert Swift. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. She introduced the members <br />of both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Professional Services Advisory Board <br />into the record and to the audience assembled. <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum dated September 3, 1997: <br />1 <br />September 8, 1997 <br />600E 10, PAGE 450 <br />
