4 .Emergency Services District <br />Chairman Eggert announced that the proposed Emergency Services District millage <br />rate is 2.2259, which is at the rolled back rate, and the proposed budget is $13,465,498. <br />Chairman Eggert opened the public hearing on the proposed Emergency Services <br />District budget and asked if anyone wished to be heard. There being none, she closed the <br />Public Hearing and announced that there are no proposed changes to the budget. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 97-095 establishing the tax millage rate (2.2259) <br />to be levied upon all real and personal taxable property in Indian <br />River County for FY 1997-98 for the Indian River County <br />Emergency Services District. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Gime, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 97-096 amending the County Budget Officer's <br />estimates of receipts other than taxes and of balances to be <br />brought forward for FY 1997-98 and adopting a Final Budget <br />for the Emergency Services District in the amount of <br />$13,465,498. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97- 9 5 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />ESTABLISHING THE TAX MILLAGE RATE TO BE LEVIED <br />UPON ALL REAL AND PERSONAL TAXABLE PROPERTY <br />IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />1997-98 FOR THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County prepared and presented <br />to the County Commission a tentative budget for the Emergency Services District of <br />Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year commencing on the first day of October, <br />1997, and ending on the 30th day of September, 1998, addressing each of the funds <br />therein as provided by law, including all estimated receipts, taxes to be levied, and <br />balances expected to be brought forward, and all estimated expenditures, reserves, <br />and balances to be carried over at the end of the year, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County held <br />numerous public workshops to consider and amend the tentative budget as presented; <br />and 15 <br />September 17, 1997 <br />[,Eiv 1-0 PAGE ^009 <br />
