REPORT ON CONSOLIDATED RESOURCES BENEFICIAL <br />RESULTS <br />Commissioner Ginn commented that she had gone out to the Kerr Center last week <br />and happened to come across a 20 ton truck that was depositing chips ground from waste <br />wood at the Landfill. It is being ground and trommel-screened and being put back on Indian <br />River citrus. She was quite excited about this organic farming use and that the County can <br />claim recycling for this material. <br />Commissioner Adams commented that they are making headway. <br />Commissioner Ginn advised that the citrus people have used 500 tons to date and she <br />felt this needed to be brought to the attention of the public. <br />A.B. SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment the Board would <br />reconvene sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District. <br />Those Minutes are being prepared separately. <br />OCTOBER 28, 1997 <br />M. , <br />
