These funds <br />represent the revenue generated from the housing of Broward County inmates for the month of October, <br />1997. The monies will replace Corrections funds used to house the Broward inmates, fund the operation <br />of our Aviation component, purchase Capital Outlay items and phase in the New Positions as discussed <br />during the 1997-98 budget hearings. <br />The budget amendment will be distributed as follows: <br />Law Enforcement Salaries $ 8,267 <br />Law Enforcement Expense 12,264 <br />Law Enforcement Capital 67,009 <br />(Vehicles & Investigative Eqpt.) <br />Corrections 43.770 <br />Total $131,310 <br />I am requesting this item be placed on the "Consent Agenda" for your November l , 1997, meeting. <br />If you have any questions or any further information is required, please let me know. <br />Sincerely, <br />01A-tC.JL,—� <br />Gary C.
