CHAST <br />AND MANAGER OF AS S NT PROJECTS <br />STAFFED BY: DEPARTMENT OF ITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND <br />WILLIAM C. AND MERCEDES S. LAMM <br />BACKGROUND <br />The owners', William C. and Mercedes S. Lamm, well system has <br />failed, and they have requested temporary service be installed from <br />the water line on 43rd Avenue to service their property at 4320 2nd <br />Square, SW, Vero Beach, Florida prior to the installation of a <br />water main on 2nd Square, SW, in Forest Lake. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The Agreement states that the Indian River County Department of <br />Utility Services shall provide temporary water service to Mr. and <br />Mrs. Lamm until such time that a water line may be constructed on <br />2nd Square, SW, in Forest Lake by assessment. They agree to pay <br />all fees required to make this connection. They further agree to <br />participate in the assessment and to reconnect to this water line <br />as required by the Indian River County Department of Utility <br />Services. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility <br />County Commissioners approve <br />and Mercedes S. Lamm on the <br />NOVEMBER 18, 1997 <br />Services recommends that the Board of <br />the attached Agreement with William C. <br />Consent Agenda. <br />26 <br />
