O'Brien, Assistant County Attorney -�Pa <br />DATE: November 4, 1997 <br />SUBJECT: Adoption of Latest Editions of Standard Technical Codes <br />As authorized by Section 553.73, F.S. the Florida Board of Building Codes and <br />Standards, from time to time updates and adopts new editions of the various <br />standard codes. The Indian River County code contains a number of standard <br />codes some of which have been updated by the Florida Board. The Code <br />should now be amended to reflect the latest Codes adopted by the Florida <br />Board. <br />A proposed ordinance is attached which, if adopted, will update the County's <br />Code to reflect the latest changes by the Florida Board. <br />A hearing date of December 2, 1997 is suggested. <br />50 <br />NOVEMBER 18, 1997 <br />
