PUBLIC DISCUSSIONITEM- CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />REPORT ON TOURISMAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />Penny Chandler, Executive Director of Indian River County Chamber of <br />Commerce, gave a very comprehensive report concerning efforts and results of economic <br />development and tourism. R. Co. prestigious <br />golf communities <br />* Northeast Weekend Flyers Magazine- 2 -page article with focus on flying into Vero Beach; <br />distributed to pilots of small aircraft <br />* Selling Long Haul and Undiscovered Florida (both from the UK)- special 1 pg. articles <br />* Recommend Magazine- trade magazine <br />* Adventures in South East Florida Travel- destination info; consumer magazine <br />* Travel Agent Magazine- trade publication; destination info update <br />* Travel America.
