Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: December 3, 1997 <br />RE: FAIR ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY <br />This year the Indian River County Fair Association, Inc. will be running the annual <br />County fair at the County's fairgrounds; therefore, the County and the Fair <br />Association need to enter into an agreement for the use of the County property. <br />The attached agreement is the similar to the one we have used in the past. <br />Requested Action: We request that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign <br />the attached agreement for the 1998 fair. <br />J <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Lea R. �Kell�r,_ CLA, County Attorney's Office <br />THROUGH: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: December 22, 1997 <br />RE: FAIR ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY <br />AND APPROVAL OF FAIR CHARTER <br />This year the Indian River County Fair Association, Inc. will be running the annual <br />County fair at the County's fairgrounds; therefore, the County and the Fair <br />Association need to enter into an agreement for the use of the County property. <br />The attached agreement is the similar to the one we have used in the past. <br />At the October 21, 1997, meeting, the Board reviewed the proposed Charter for <br />the Indian River County Fair Association, Inc. and "...unanimously approved the <br />firefighters becoming the Indian River Fair Association, Inc. ..." During the <br />hearing required by State law to incorporate the Fair Association Circuit Judge <br />Smith asked that the motion of the Board of County Commissioners specifically <br />approve the corporate documents which were before the Board. <br />Requested Action: We request that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign <br />the attached agreement for the 1998 fair and acknowledge that the full Board <br />approves the Charter for the Indian River County Fair Association, Inc. <br />DECEMBER 23, 1997 <br />10 <br />8COK PAGE7,36-2) ,3 <br />
