Keating, AICP <br />Community Development Dir <br />FROM: Stan Boling, AI/SCP <br />Planning Director <br />DATE: December 12, 1997 <br />SUBJECT: Notice of Scheduled Public Hearing <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of December 23, 1997. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Please be advised that the following public hearings have been scheduled: <br />Public Hearings for January 6, 1998: <br />1. Request for the Board to approve a minor amendment (not a substantial deviation) to the <br />Grand Harbor Development Order to allow residential uses on two parcels currently <br />designated for office and commercial use only. <br />2. Request for the Board to approve expansion of the Grand Harbor Planned Development <br />(PD) to cover an area within the existing Grand Harbor Development not presently within the <br />PD area The request also involves a PD plan proposal that will allow residential uses in <br />accordance with the Development Order amendment referenced above. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The above referenced public hearing dates are provided for the Board of County Commissioners <br />information. No action is needed. <br />Commissioner Macht requested that staff indicate after each item whether or not it is <br />a quasi-judicial item. <br />County Attorney Vitunac responded that his office will review the items. However, <br />when in doubt, all items should be assumed to be quasi-judicial. <br />No further action taken. <br />DECEMBER 23, 1997 <br />-13- �� <br />
