MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT #003 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of January 7, 1998: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: January 7, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 003 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird, <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND COMMONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. At the December 16, 1997 BCC meeting the Emergency Services District Board <br />approved refurbishing the aerial platform ladder truck at a cost of $190,445.00. <br />The attached entry appropriates funding. <br />2. At the December 16, 1997 BCC meeting the Emergency Services District Board <br />approved funding the purchase of a hazardous material trailer and equipment from <br />donations. The attached entry appropriates funding. <br />3. Indian River County received a grant from the Florida Inland Navigation District <br />(F.I.N.D.) which is passed through to the Environmental Learning Center. The <br />County has received $14,482.96 in checks. <br />4. At the September 16, 1997 BCC meeting the BCC approved the $53,351 EMS <br />County Award Grant. The attached entry appropriates the funding. <br />5. At the August 5, 1997 BCC meeting the BCC approved amendment number 3 to <br />the agreement between SJRWMD and Indian River County for Florida Yards and <br />Neighborhood (FYN) Program which increased the agreement by $50,596 to <br />$163,211.64. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget amendment 003. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously approved Miscellaneous Budget <br />Amendment #003, as recommended by staff. <br />JANUARY 13, 1998 <br />-14- <br />0 0 <br />
