Gentile, CET <br />Civil Engineer 1(4 <br />SUBJECT: Vero Tropical Gardens Subdivision, Proposals for Environmental Assessment <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />After meeting with St. Johns River Water Management District, the Engineering Division staff is <br />concerned with the significant wetlands and other environmental issues in this subdivision and in order <br />to provide water expansion, pave the roads and improve the drainage in the Vero Tropical Gardens <br />Subdivision, a consultant needs to be retained to provide professional services directed toward <br />determining and locating the limits of the wetland jurisdiction in the subdivision. <br />Staff received proposals from three different environmental firms. All three proposals are less than <br />the limits of the Consultant Competitive Negotiation procedure, therefore the Board can approve this <br />contract without that procedure.
