Collins II -Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: January 7, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Cancelling Taxes on Acquired Property <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of cancelling any delinquent or <br />current taxes which may exist on the following property acquired by Indian River <br />County for public purpose: <br />Conservation area and right-of-way acquired from Lost Tree Village <br />Corporation, a Florida corporation, which property is fully described in <br />that Special Warranty Deed recorded in Official Record Book 1186, Page <br />2251, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution cancelling certain taxes upon publicly owned lands, and the Clerk to <br />send a certified copy of same to the Tax Collector so that any delinquent or <br />current taxes can be cancelled. <br />/nhm <br />Attachment: 1 Resolution <br />cc: Karl Zimmermann - Tax Collector <br />David Nolte - Property Appraiser <br />January 20, 1998 <br />34 <br />
