0 • <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above named signatories are hereby <br />authorized to execute any and all signature cards and agreements as requested by the <br />respective banking institutions designated as official depositories by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the use <br />of facsimile signatures is as authorized by Section 116.34, Florida Statutes, the "Uniform <br />Facsimile Signature of Public Officials Act." <br />Chairman John W. COMMENT ON UPCOMING NATIONAL ASSOCIATION <br />OF COUNTIES (NACo)MEETING <br />Vice Chairman Macht advised that he will be attending the NACo meeting in <br />Washington, D.C., the end of the month, and requested that if the Commissioners have any <br />particular interest in the workshops, agenda items, or conferences to let him know and he <br />will see if he could get some coverage for same. He reported that he will concentrate on <br />substance abuse, which will be the theme. Bill Moyers will be there to introduce the series <br />that will be on PBS regarding the effects of substance abuse.
