Costs for County Tax Deed Application <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of February 10, 1998: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Lea R. Keller, CLA <br />Legal Assistant <br />County Attorney's Office <br />DATE: February 10, 1998 <br />RE: Costs for County Tax Deed Application <br />On June 17, 1997, the Board of County Commissioners approved the County paying certain <br />costs to the Tax Collector in connection with the sale of certain tax certificates that were eligible <br />for tax deed applications. <br />We were recently advised by the Clerk of the Court that, as part of the process of transferring the <br />title to the County, the sum of $302.63 is due (as shown on the attached itemization). <br />Requested Action: Board approve the County paying the requested amount to the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously (4-0 Chairman <br />Tippin absent) approved payment of $302.63 to the Clerk of the <br />Circuit Court to cover costs for County tax deed application, as <br />requested in the memorandum. <br />February 17, 1998 <br />15 <br />
