ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously (4-0 Vice <br />Chairman Macht absent) authorized the Chairman to sign the <br />Participation Registration form indicating that the County is <br />willing to participate in updating addresses and maps as part of <br />Census 2000 activities, as recommended in the Memorandum. <br />COPY OF PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION FORM IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />7. Baird N <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. At the February 10, 1998 Board of County Commissioners meeting the BCC approved a <br />Florida Department of Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Match Grant <br />for Recreation lifeguards to obtain four (4) defibrillators. At the February 17, 1998 meeting the Board of County Commissioners approved a EMS <br />Match grant for the Sheriff to receive twenty-one (21) defibrillators.
