Mora, P.E. <br />County Traffic Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Traffic Control Device Ledger <br />DATE: April 3, 1998 CONSENT AGENDA <br />aaaaamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaananaaaaanaaaaaamaanmasmaaaaa <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Public Works Director is to provide a Traffic Control Device <br />Ledger update, every six months, for ratification by the Board of <br />County Commissioners as specified by Section 312.18 of Indian River <br />County Code. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS & FUNDING <br />It is recommended that this ledger update be approved. There is no <br />funding impact generated by this action. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 98-039 approving <br />Traffic Control Devices authorized by the Director <br />of Public Works. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 39 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />DEVICES AUTHORIZED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has directed the <br />director of public works to maintain a ledger reflecting the <br />traffic control devices in the unincorporated area (Section 312.18, <br />Indian River County Code); and <br />WHEREAS, the code requires this ledger to be presented to the <br />Board of County Commissioners for approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the ledger has been presented and is attached as <br />Exhibit "A" to this Resolution, <br />APRIL 14, 1998 <br />-20- <br />
