County Attorney Vitunac introduced Judge David Morgan. <br />Judge David Morgan, County Judge, advised that the proposed documents are an <br />attempt to put all court costs together to give the County a uniform way to collect these costs. <br />These can be collected by the County directly or through a private vendor and the judiciary <br />hopes this action will give the County a better way to keep track of and collect these costs. <br />County Attorney Vitunac thanked the judiciary for their cooperation and help. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 98-046 adopting <br />fines and costs in certain criminal prosecution. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98--16 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ADOPTING FINES AND COSTS IN <br />CERTAIN CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. <br />WHEREAS, a standardized "Order assessing fines, costs, and <br />additional charges, and, if indicated, entering judgment" and a related <br />standardized final judgment will conduce the orderly administration of justice, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1. The attached two forms entitled "Order assessing fines, costs, <br />additional charges, and, if indicated, entering judgment" and "Final Judgment <br />for fines, costs, and additional charges" are hereby approved and adopted." <br />The resolution was moved to adoption by Commissioner Macht <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Gi nn and, upon <br />being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman John W.
