• <br />• <br />April 21, 1998 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25' Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at 9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R. <br />Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran. B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Caroline D. Ginn. Also <br />present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Patricia "PT' Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Tippin called the meeting to order. <br />2. INVOCATION <br />Commissioner Ginn delivered the Invocation. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Commissioner Adams led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />County Administrator James Chandler requested the deletion of Item 9.B.1., Mike <br />Ziegler's request to speak regarding the landfill vegetative material processing by <br />Consolidated Resource Recovery. <br />Chairman Tippin requested 2 additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. Add Item 9.B.2., Richard M. Flinn and Robert A. Flinn, public discussion <br />regarding sewer assessment on lands being purchased by the County. <br />APRIL 21, 1998 <br />
