NOTICE OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION AMENDMENTS The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, will consider two proposals to amend its Comprehensive Plan and to change the use of land within the unincorporated por- tions of Indian River County. A public hearing on the proposals will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at 9:05 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers of the County Administration Building, locat- ed at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. At this public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will consider authorizing the transmittal of these amendments to the State Department of Community Affairs for their review. The proposed amendments are included in a proposed ordinance entitled: L-2 L-1 AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR: 1. 12.10 ACRES, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 45TH STREET AND 24TH AVENUE, FROM M-2 TO CA; AND 2. 17.07 ACRES, LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET NORTH OF 57TH STREET, BETWEEN OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY AND U.S. 1, FROM L-2 TO C/I; AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing regarding the approval of these proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments. The plan amendment applications may be inspected by the pub- lic at the Community Development Department located on the sec- ond floor of the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public between 8:30 a.m, and 5:00 p.m. at the office of the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. NO FINAL ACTION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS MEETING. Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may be made at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evi- dence upon which the appeal is based.
