<br />NOTICE OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND
<br />USE DESIGNATION AMENDMENTS
<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, will consider two proposals to amend its Comprehensive
<br />Plan and to change the use of land within the unincorporated por-
<br />tions of Indian River County. A public hearing on the proposals will
<br />be held on Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at 9:05 a.m. in the County
<br />Commission Chambers of the County Administration Building, locat-
<br />ed at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. At this public hearing,
<br />the Board of County Commissioners will consider authorizing the
<br />transmittal of these amendments to the State Department of
<br />Community Affairs for their review. The proposed amendments are
<br />included in a proposed ordinance entitled:

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
<br />AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
<br />THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANGING THE
<br />LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR:
<br />1. *2.10 ACRES, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST
<br />CORNER OF 45TH STREET AND 24TH AVENUE,
<br />FROM M-2 TO CA; AND
<br />2. *7.07 ACRES, LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 700
<br />FEET NORTH OF 57TH STREET, BETWEEN OLD
<br />DIXIE HIGHWAY AND U.S. 1, FROM L-2 TO C/I;
<br />AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing
<br />regarding the approval of these proposed Comprehensive Plan
<br />Amendments.
<br />The plan amendment applications may be inspected by the pub-
<br />lic at the Community Development Department located on the sec-
<br />ond floor of the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th
<br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and
<br />5:00 p.m. on weekdays. For more Information, contact Peter Radke

<br />The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public between
<br />8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the office of the Clerk to the Board of
<br />County Commissioners, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida.
<br />NO FINAL ACTION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE
<br />WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS MEETING.
<br />Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may be
<br />made at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim recons of
<br />the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evi-
<br />dence upon which the appeal is based.
