Director Boling also advised that a sign in the shape of an orange <br />would be acceptable. <br />Mr. Walker thought that property owners were noticed in instances like this, and <br />Commissioner Eggert explained that this is a general matter (Comprehensive Plan and <br />LDR's) and the hearings were noticed in the newspaper, which is what is required. <br />Chairman Tippin added that zoning changes are quite different and require <br />notification of property owners in the area of the proposed zoning change. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />Chairman Tippin asked if there were any more comments. <br />Commissioner Ginn wanted it noted for the record that she would like deeper buffers, <br />more green space in interior parking, and no signs on canopy facia. She also wanted it noted <br />that she feels the 25' buffer between residential and agriculture is inadequate. <br />Other Commissioners expressed various reasons for disagreeing with Commissioner <br />Ginn's comments. <br />Chairman Tippin expressed his preference for larger signs when SR -60 is widened to <br />six lanes. <br />Notice of Second Hearing <br />Chairman Tippin announced that the second hearing will be May 19, 1998, at 9:05 <br />a.m. <br />There being no further business, upon motion duly made and seconded, the Chairman <br />adjourned the meeting at 6:18 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Jeffrey .
