0 <br />May 4, 1998 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Special <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25`h Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, May 4, 1998. The purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing on ten <br />proposed LDR (Land Development Regulations) Amendments. Present were John W. <br />Tippin, Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert and Caroline D. Ginn. Vice Chairman <br />Kenneth R. Macht was absent/excused to attend a SHOCOP seminar out of the county. Also <br />present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. <br />FIRST PUBLIC HEARING - PROPOSED LDR AMENDMENTS <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of April 28, 1998: <br />TO: James E.
