Keller, CLA <br />Legal Assistant - County Attorney's Office <br />DATE: April 27, 1998 <br />RE: 2 Recently Acquired Properties - Tax Cancellations <br />The County recently acquired some property and, pursuant to Section 196.28, F.S., the <br />Board of County Commissioners is allowed to cancel and discharge any taxes owed on the <br />portion of the property acquired for public purpose.
