r <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 98-056 setting a <br />time and place at which the owners of properties <br />located in the Sebastian Phase II -A Water Expansion <br />Area (in the Southeast comer of an area West of <br />Roseland Road and North of CR#512) and other <br />interested persons, may appear before the Board of <br />County Commissioners and be heard as to the <br />propriety and advisability of constructing the water <br />main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the <br />manner of payment thereof, and as to the amount <br />thereofto be specially assessed against each property <br />benefited thereby. <br />Time and Place (Second Reso.) 4/98(reso/seblla)WIDC <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 56 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME <br />AND PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED IN <br />THE SEBASTIAN PHASE II -A WATER EXPANSION AREA (IN THE <br />SOUTHEAST CORNER OF AN AREA WEST OF ROSELAND ROAD AND <br />NORTH OF CR#512) AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS, MAY <br />APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND BE <br />HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF <br />CONSTRUCTING THE WATER MAIN EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST <br />THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO <br />THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH <br />PROPERTY BENEFITED THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 98- 55 , determined that it is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens of <br />the county, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within the area <br />described hereafter, that a waterline be installed to serve 449 parcels located in the southeast <br />comer of an area west of Roseland Road and North of CR#512; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect <br />thereto shall be $0.191713 per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an assessment roll to be <br />completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 206.06, Indian River County Code, requires that the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at which the owners of the properties to be <br />assessed or any other persons interested therein may appear before the Board of County <br />Commissioners and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of constructing such water <br />main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as to the <br />amount thereof to be assessed against each property benefited thereby, <br />MAY 59 1998 <br />-a0- <br />0 0 <br />
