These funds <br />represent the revenue generated from the housing of Broward County inmates for the month of April. <br />1998, ($27,665) and from the housing of Immigration and Naturalization Services (I.N.S.) inmates for <br />the months of March and April. 1998. ($1,620). The monies will replace Corrections' funds used to <br />house the Broward and I.N.S. inmates and purchase Capital Outlay items. <br />The budget amendment will be distributed as follows: <br />Law Enforcement Capital $ 21,200 <br />(1) Full Size Sedan @ 19,657 <br />(1) Radar Unit @ 1.776 <br />Corrections 8.085 <br />Total $ 29.285 <br />I am requesting this item be placed on the "Consent Agenda" at your earliest convenience. <br />If you have any questions or any further information is required, please let me know. <br />Sincerely, <br />Gary C/AVheeler.
