DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Since the County awarded the construction contract for the Wabasso CDBG Improvement, <br />Project to Martin Paving Company, Ranger Construction Industries, Inc. purchased Martin <br />Paving Co.. At this time, Martin Paving Co. wishes to assign the contract to Ranger <br />Construction Industries, Inc. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The County Attorney's office and CRA, Inc. (administrator for the Wabasso CDBG Project) <br />requires the attached executed forms to provide for assignment: <br />1. Assignment and Assumption of Martin Paving Company Contract <br />2. Change Rider <br />Martin has transmitted the attached executed forms. <br />Since all forms have been received and approved by Terrance O'Brien, Assistant County <br />Attorney and Robert Johnson of CRA, staff recommends approval for the Chairman to <br />execute the Assignment and Rider. _ <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Change Rider and the Assignment and <br />Assumption of Martin Paving Company Contract <br />and Ranger Construction Industries, Inc., and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute same, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11.G.2.
