Box DO PALE 38 <br />The County Administrator's Office received a letter dated March 12, 1998 from FDCA stating that <br />Indian River County has been allocated $157,777 in federal grant funds for FY 1998/99, the same <br />amount as last year, to fund local anti-drug abuse programs. The letter also requested the Board to <br />serve as the coordinating unit of government in applying for the funds. If a project cannot be implemented due to the <br />budget cuts, then the money allocated for the project will be redistributed to other projects already <br />listed. <br />The M.A.C.E. Unit, Substance Abuse Council and T.A.R.G.E.T. receive their match from Indian <br />River County Board of County Commission funds since they are agencies of the County.
