RECOM M MATIONS AND FMMING <br />Staff recommends that the Chairman execute the attached <br />Application, Agreement and Resolution. <br />Project Application <br />Project Agreement <br />Resolution No. 98 - <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED <br />BY Commissioner Ginn, to approve staff's recommendation <br />(authorize the Chairman to execute the Application, Agreement <br />and Resolution). <br />Under discussion, Chairman Tippin asked if he understood correctly that there will <br />be four sets of toilets in this project, and Public Works Director James Davis assured him <br />that he had understood correctly. It seemed like a lot of toilets to Chairman Tippin and <br />Commissioner Ginn, and Director Davis reminded them that Jungle Trail is 7-1/2 miles long. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />passed unanimously. NO. 98- 6 9 <br />A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMNUSSIONERS OF FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LOCAL <br />AGENCY AGREEMENT AND PROVIDING <br />WHEN THIS RESOLUTION WILL TAKE <br />EFFECT <br />WHEREAS, The State of Florida Department of Transportation and Indian River County <br />desire to facilitate JUNGLE TRAIL ENHANCEMENT PROJECT; and, <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida has requested the County of Indian River, Florida, to <br />execute and deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation a Local Agency Agreement <br />for the aforementioned project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River, Florida, is hereby authorized to make, execute, and deliver to the State of Florida <br />Department of Transportation a Local Agency Agreement for the aforementioned project. <br />June 23, 1998 <br />35 <br />GOOK 106 FACE.182 <br />L <br />
