Tower Space Lease Modification - Hobart Park Site - PrimeCo <br />Communications <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of July 7, 1998: <br />TO: Honorable Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Jim Chandler, County Administrator <br />FROM: Doug Wright, Director <br />Emergency Services t <br />DATE: July 7, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: Modification of Memorandum of Tower Space Lease - PrimeCo Communications <br />Hobart Park Site <br />On July 28, 1997, the Board approved three Tower and Ground Space Lease Co -Location <br />Agreements with PrimeCo Personal Communications at three different locations, one of which <br />was Hobart Tower. On March 31, 1998, after PrimeCo had a study and survey completed on <br />Hobart Tower which determined the tower was insufficient for their needs, the Board approved <br />an amendment to the Tower Space Lease. The amendment provided, among other things, that <br />PrimeCo would build a new 250'tower at the same location of an old 150' tower adjacent to the <br />405' Hobart Tower which the County would own and PrimeCo would began paying rent in the <br />amount of $10,800 commencing the eleventh year of the Lease. <br />The proposed Modification of Memorandum of Tower Space Lease correctly and specifically <br />reflects the legal description of the access easement, lease parcel, and utility easement. <br />RECONEVIENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the Modification of Memorandum of Tower Space Lease. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Modification of Memorandum of Tower Space Lease with <br />PrimeCo Communications (Hobart Park Site), as recommended <br />in the Memorandum. <br />July 14, 1998 <br />MODIFICATION OF MEMORANDUM OF TOWER SPACE LEASE <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />25 <br />COOK 106 <br />
