Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />Dear Mr. Chandler <br />August 11, 1998 _, <br />This is a request that I be put on the County Commissioners' agenda (under <br />"Public Discussion Items" ) for the August 18,1998 meeting. <br />I would like the opportunity to comment on several items that were discussed <br />at the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee at its meeting of July 29, 1998. <br />Sincerely, <br />Francis M. Coffey, 88 Cache Cay, Vero Beach, a member of the Land Acquisition <br />Advisory Committee, expressed his appreciation to the County's staff members from <br />Environmental Planning, Budget, General Services and the County Administrator's Office <br />for their assistance to the LAAC. <br />Mr. Coffey related some figures regarding the proposed purchase prices as they relate <br />to the appraised and assessed values regarding the Gilman and deGuzman properties (part <br />of the Round Island South Project) and recommended that staff include in the plans to be <br />presented to LAAC detailed information regarding any management plan costs and any <br />necessary County spending reduction due to loss of revenue from removing the properties <br />from the tax roll. <br />NO ACTION REQUIRED OR TAKEN. <br />AUGUST 18, 1998 <br />-17- BOOK 10 PAGE <br />• <br />
