August 25, 1998 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25'hStreet, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, August 25, 1998. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R Macht, <br />Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert and Caroline D. Ginn. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Deputy County Attorney William G. Collins II <br />for Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney (in court); and Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. <br />1. INVOCATION <br />Commissioner Ginn delivered the invocation. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Chairman Tippin led the Pledge to the Flag. <br />4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of two items: Presentation of Refuge <br />Revenue Sharing Payment by Paul Tritaik (item 5.); and Comments on Public Discussion <br />Items (item 13.D.) <br />Vice Chairman Macht requested the addition of item 13.B., Comment on Vero Mall <br />Study for County Administration Building. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the withdrawal of item 7. G.
