Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: September 1, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Accepting Right -Of -Way Dedication and Cancelling <br />Taxes on Acquired Property <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of accepting a right-of-way <br />dedication and cancelling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on the <br />following property acquired by Indian River County for public purpose: <br />Right-of-way acquired from Robert H. Cook, Jr., which property is fully <br />described in that Warranty Deed recorded in Official Record Book 1227, <br />Pages 1872-1873, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution accepting the right-of-way dedication and cancelling certain taxes <br />upon publicly owned lands, and the Clerk to send a certified copy of same to the <br />Tax Collector so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />/nhm <br />Attachment: Resolution <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously (4-0, Vice <br />Chairman Macht absent) adopted Resolution 98-092 accepting <br />a right-of-way dedication and canceling certain taxes upon <br />publicly owned lands, pursuant to Section 196.28, Florida <br />Statutes. <br />September 8, 1998 <br />16 <br />is 0 <br />
