r <br />HOOK 10-7 PAGE e, <br />Planning Director Stan Boling reviewed the project for the Board and presented the <br />conceptual site plan. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding this matter. There being none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously approved the conceptual PD plan and <br />adopted Ordinance 98-021 amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance and the accompanying Zoning Map from <br />CG to PD Commercial for approximately 4.99 acres <br />of land generally located on the South side of SR -60 <br />in the 8500 block (Randle Properties, Inc.). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 98- a <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM CG <br />TO PD COMMERCIAL FOR APPROXIMATELY 4.99 ACRES OF LAND <br />GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SR 60 IN THE 8500 <br />BLOCK; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning, is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County, and the county land development <br />regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process and Standards for <br />Development chapter, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, in conjunction <br />with the rezoning request has approved a PD conceptual plan (see EXHIBIT B, attached) that <br />controls and regulates development on the subject land; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which pai ties4n interest and citizens were heard; <br />September 15, 1998 <br />
