B80K 107 FACE '37 7 <br />Commissioner Adams asked again about the projections for August and September <br />of this year. <br />Mackie Branham, the County's agent, responded that the August projections from <br />Blue Cross have not yet been received. However, the projected claims are running about $40 <br />per employee per month over last year's figures. <br />Commissioner Ginn questioned whether any thought has been given to increasing the <br />cost for dependent coverage that each employee pays, and County Administrator Chandler <br />responded that this is the third year of our contract and rebidding will occur this year. That <br />additional cost will be taken into consideration at that time. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Eggert, the Board <br />unanimously approved carving out the Mental & <br />Nervous benefits from the group health plan and <br />removing Dispense as Written (D.A.W.); directed <br />staff to negotiate with Unipsych Corporation which <br />is sponsored by the Florida Health Purchasing <br />Cooperative, Inc., and directed staff to return with <br />all contracts relating to health insurance for the <br />Board to approve and execute; as recommended by <br />staff. <br />11.G.1.
