3) Schedule a meeting with the Willow Street area property owners <br />to determine if they are willing to support MSBU funding to <br />pave the eleven miles of Fellsmere area streets. <br />Funding for the test sections shall be by Local Option Gas Tax <br />Revenue in the amount of $75,000. <br />1) Jon Jansen to Jim Davis dated Aug. 31, 1998 <br />2) BCC Minutes dated July 8, 1997 <br />3) Martin County Bid <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously (4-01 <br />Commissioner Eggert absent) authorized the Road and Bridge <br />Division to add 79' Street west of Willow Street to the grader <br />route, subject to approval by the Fellsmere Water Control <br />District; and approved paving a % mile section of 74' Avenue <br />between SR60 and 16`h Street and a V2 mile section of Willow <br />Street between 85" Street and 81' Street with "Cold Mix Open <br />Graded Asphaltic Concrete" as experimental test sections; and <br />directed that a meeting be scheduled with the Willow Street area <br />property owners to determine if they are willing to support <br />MSBU funding to pave the 11 miles of Fellsmere area streets, <br />as recommended in the memorandum. Funding shall be from <br />the Local Option Gas Tax Revenue in the amount of $75,000. <br />Commissioner Adams commended Public Works Director James Davis and staff on <br />their research on the "Cold Mix Open Graded Asphaltic Concrete" and expected it would <br />produce a cost -savings for the County. <br />Chairman Tippin hoped that it would work. <br />11.G.5.
